Autumn is pumpkin and clove. The first cold evening with the windows cracked open. Sweaters coming back into rotation. Earlier sunsets. Something warm in the oven. The annual, entirely predictable pleasure of wanting your home to smell like the season has arrived.
This is my version of that.
Warm pumpkin softened with vanilla and enough clove to give it depth — familiar without becoming overly sweet, and seasonal without smelling like the entire spice cupboard fell into the wax.
There is a reason we return to certain things every year.
